Preparing for Music City, USA (Nashville, TN)

Packing for the tournament is always an adventure because I'm not used to wearing shirt and tie for four consecutive days ... The attire for the Tournament professional dress which means shirt and tie for the men (sports coat is optional, but I have packed two of mine) and for the ladies, whatever they deem professional dress ... When assisting with the conference office, you can not wear anything representing your respective school - colors are ok, but not a logo ... The MSU contingent will be departing campus around 1 p.m. on Wednesday from the Bryan Athletic Administration Building.

Tony, I know that you are just now leaving for the tournament, but I already have a question. Up here in Knoxville, Coach Pearl is complaining about the fact that teams that get a first round bye (E1, E2, W1, and W2) dont get a chance to practice at Gaylord like the other teams do. I know the other teams practice on Wed. for the start of the tournament on Thurs., but what happens Thursday morning that prevents the number 1 and 2 seeds from each division from practicing? I hope you have a great time!

What do you do for the SEC? Do you get to watch every game or just MSU's? I hope they win.

Jake

To answer your question ... I believe they have an opportunity to have a shoot-around bright and early in the morning around 8 or 9.
